Try thinking of how many times you have screamed out of sheer excitement – “Wow, such a pretty color”, be it in terms of makeup or clothing or any accessory. Colors are what attract us at first and then other things come into play. Similar way, colors do reflect our personality and our choice of colors somewhere describes our individualistic characteristics. Someone who wears cheery colors is easily considered as a peppy person, while someone who wears more of muted or pastel shades has low-key personality.
I thought of writing today about “the unexpected accessory – Nail paint”. Yes, that is what the famous Lauren Conrad called the nail polish. I am sure that you also have tons and hundreds of colors in your stash. We can never have enough of nail paints colors. Whenever I am scrolling down Instagram or Pinterest, I always find so many pretty colors that I do not own. Never-ending desire! 😉
I thought of dividing the colors into three main categories depending on our office routines.
Regular Days – On most days, you may try wearing pastel and warm colors so it brings attention to your beautiful hands in a subtle way and these colors suits everyone.
Colors – Blush Pink, white, peach, light orange, nude, light greys, Lavender Purple
Dress Up Days – There are days when you feel like pulling your sock and raising the game up. Inner happiness translates well to bright nail paint colors and there are many options to choose from.
Colors – Bright pink, Fuchsia, orange, Brown, Purple
Events/Occasions – Then comes the days when there is an office event, party or outing when you dress up glamorous and can wear some really exotic colors which might not be suitable for everyday wear in office.
Colors – Brick Red, Marsala, Royal Blue, Silver, Golden, Burgundy.
Tips – There are some colors which might look very pretty and beautiful and we love wearing them, but still we can’t wear them in conservative offices. Such colors include Yellow, Green and Black. We can wear some muted shades of green like mint, but it cannot be worn in every shade available. Keep these colors for weekends fun and flaunt your beautiful hands on weekdays with the pretty colors mentioned above.
Also nailart can be avoided in office. If you really want, don something which does not attract too much attention on your hands rather than your talks. This can be left upon your own best judgment.
Let me know how you feel about colors. Which are your go-to colors. Are you more of neutral colors person or bright cheery person?
