My first outfit post was a western outfit and so I decided to bring an ethnic look for the second one. I thought of kurtas and then I thought why not go for full 9yards of saree. Wearing saree is not easy for everyone, but everyone will agree that females look very gorgeous in saree. So depending on your comfort level, you may include this beautiful piece of clothing in your workwear closet. If you feel that there is too much to take care of, then you may wear it for the special occasions or ethnic dress up days in office like Diwali celebration. Remember some things take time, but then they end up making you look like an inspiration. I am sure that you will find some reason to don a simple beautiful saree.
I usually prefer soft cotton or khadi sarees since they have an earthy look that instantly makes them appropriate for the office dressing. For special events, we may also opt for simple silk sarees. I am wearing this with a black crop top(Were you able to figure it out!)
Blouse – Please ensure that your blouse does not reveal much of your skin. The neckline should not reveal more than what you are comfortable with. No cleavage! You may also try a fusion look by wearing a plain black crop top with the saree.
- Always tuck safety pins at all the pleats so that they stay in place and you need not worry about it for the whole day.
- Do not tie the saree too low or too high. Remember the simple rule is that your saree should cover your heels and your midriff should also be covered.
